Requirement for Application Support Consultant

Amarsons Consultancy require Application Support Consultant:

Job Scope :

„X Must have strong business domain skills in the capital markets.
„X Support and maintain Front office, Back office and in-house
developed applications which are critical to the operations of the
Regional Operations Centre (ROC).
„X Analyse and Fix bugs quickly to production issues in a timely
fashion for business users.
„X Assist in preparation and execution of test plans to ensure
delivered functionalities meet business specifications.
„X Ensure proper change control procedures is adhered through
documentation of application development changes and system
enhancements

Principle Accountabilities:

„X Provide day-to-day application support and act as a primary point
of contact for Regional business applications in Asia business
community.
„X Analyse new business requirements, evaluate and document change
requests to be submitted for approval.
„X Help business users to take advantage of the systems in order to
drive productivity improvements and quality outputs.

Background and Education:

„X Applicants must be a graduate from recognized
University/Polytechnics and have at least 5 years of IT working
experience in the asset management industry.
„X Applicants must always be responding to the needs of the users,
must be highly independent, self-motivated, pro-active, and able to
communicate with people at all levels.
„X He/She will be required to travel occasionally.
„X Strong Knowledge of Oracle SQL Procedures
„X Experienced in supporting Trading / Front Office /Back Office Systems
„X A strong knowledge in Equities / Fixed Income/Derivatives/Option Trading

„X Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills,
with a focused customer service mentality and good business acumen are
necessary.
