Senior Offshore Structural Design Engineer for Qatar
We are looking for Indian Nationals Currently available in India for the position of Senior Offshore Structural Design Engineer for 6 months contract duration with scope for permanent employment with our Client in Qatar, a leading Oil & Gas Consultancy.
The Details are as follows:
Client's Structural department is working with concept studies, FEED, and detailed engineering on extension and modification projects of oil and gas plants - both onshore and offshore. To strengthen their competences they are looking for senior offshore Structural Engineers with extensive petrochemicals, oil and gas industry experience.
Your work will include minimum of:
· Analysis, Design and detailing of steel and RC structures
· Run structural analysis for platform modification.
· Experience in topside design and jacket design and analysis
· Preparation of Design Basis Report & Technical Specification
· Participating in Design Review and Progress Review meeting with Client
· Preparation of Deliverable list & Schedule, Man-hour estimate ,Resource requirement and Progress report
· Providing input to Project Planning Engineer to prepare project schedule
· Coordination with various other departments for Civil Input Data
· Standardization of Design Procedures
· Preparation of Check list and Design Guidelines
· Cost and quantity for pre-bid engineering
· Development of spreadsheet in excel for design
Your profile
Our Client expects that you are:
BE/ME Holder in Structural Engineering
have minimum 7 years of experience with structural design of offshore platforms, refineries, petrochemical and process plants
Technically sound with a good deal of practical understanding
should be well versed with drawings and documents like Plot plans, layouts, Area Drawings and Standards & codes
familiar and have practical experience with Staad pro, SACS ,Autocad, Micro station, Excel & Word
Must have min 5-7 yrs of SACS experience.
professionally committed and have good interpersonal skills
fluent in written and spoken English
have an out-going personality, are independent, and can take on responsibility
