Location : Dubai
Experience : 5 to 7 yrs
Education : Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Positions : Environment Management Specialist/Data Center Manager

Job Role:

Supervises and participates in shift-based activities relating to the monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the operational status of the IT Data Centre that supports and enhances the business processes and the availability of online services.
Develops and maintains a deep technical understanding of all IT Data Centre hardware and software applications in use to have the necessary capacity to provide troubleshooting support
Acts as the first-line problem solving reference point, addressing IT Data Centre issues as they occur and escalating problems
Provides technical expertise and guidance to subordinate Data Centre operators to assist in their development and increase their problem solving abilities and contribution to the EITC IT Data Centre(s)
Ensures regular IT Data Centre maintenance is delivered, either under warranty or a maintenance contract Ensure optimum operating status and retain EITC Data Centre asset value
Participates in the development, testing and implementation of IT Data Centre disaster recovery plans to ensure safe custody of information in the event of failure
Ensures IT Data Centre activity logs are maintained in order that incoming shift as full knowledge of operational status and the history of any existing or remedied problems
Applies and enforces IT Data Centre security access procedures to the safety, operation, and confidentiality and integrity of IT Data Centre systems and data
Conduct Data Centre security audits as per business needs, requirements, and approval
Prepares and maintains documentation, technical reports, and provides follow up status on IT Data Centre activities and tasks assigned
Knowledge and experience in supporting various IT Data Centre hardware and software technologies, and IT services
