About Company: It's a startup company having secured venture capital
funding from global venture capitalists,-one of the biggest venture
capital firm in world, and Indian Media houses. Company has started
operations in Pune and plans to develop the team
of 150 people in coming months.

The company intends to work on Digital Lifestyle Platform where
multiple technologies will converge to create a innovative and
revolutionary platform for a common person to give better experience
and innovative products and services related to digital cable, IT
Services, Internet and voice interaction.

Candidate needs to have good communication skills and academic
background with Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate Degree holder
/MCA / MCS / M.Sc. Computers.

Job Description:

• Intimate familiarity with various recent mainstream Linux
distributions - both servers and desktops.
• Practical experience in stripping down Linux kernel and creating a
custom distribution applicable for run-time performance tuning on
embedded devices.
• Good research skills and awareness of new and emerging networking
technologies.
• Exposure to enterprise firewalls and data/network security systems
of high-bandwidth multicast networks.
• Excellent server setup, configuration, tuning, administration and
troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in various servers
for web/database/ldap/DNS/NFS/FTP/Radius/directory
services/certificates/email/SMTP etc.
• Advanced scripting skills - bash, pearl, PHP, ruby etc. with command
on sed, awk and regular expressions.
• Wireless network administration.
• Exposure to L2/L3 switches (Higher end switches), routers and firewalls.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for development, packaging, installation and maintenance
of end-to-end next-generation infotainment solutions.
• Should have worked in various distributed enterprise-systems.
• Excellent networking concepts and their application on Linux for
network infrastructure designing, management and troubleshooting is a
must.
